RALEIGH, N.C. (September 25, 2008) - Southern Capitol Ventures (SCV), a North Carolina-based early-stage venture capital firm dedicated to helping outstanding entrepreneurs build market-leading companies, today announced that David Jones has become a full partner with the firm. Currently the SCV board member at ArtusLabs and the Piedmont Triad Entrepreneurial Network (PTEN), Jones has been with SCV since 2005.

"David brings a wealth of talent, energy and drive to our ongoing activities," said Ben Brooks, founding partner of Southern Capitol Ventures. "He is highly respected by his peers and the entrepreneurial community and has helped our firm expand its reach while developing an excellent reputation throughout the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
