George Krall
George is the former president and chief executive officer of Mebane Packaging Group, which was the leading supplier of paperboard packaging to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. With revenue of over $130 million, George sold Mebane Packaging to Westvaco, a Fortune 500 company in 2000. The company later merged with Mead to create Meadwestvaco (NYSE:MWV), a $5 billion company. He previously owned Wilkata Packaging Corp., which reported 25% annual growth and was acquired by Mebane Packaging in 1991. He was founder and president of Krall Management, Inc, a top 100 information systems and management consulting firm with over 200 clients including Tiffany & Co., Rohm & Haas, Exide Electronics, First Union, and the National Science Foundation. Additionally, he was a manager and sales leader with IBM.
George also serves as a Trustee and Investment Committee member for Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he was chosen as one of the university's 100 most "outstanding alumni." He holds a BS in Engineering, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management program at UNC's Kenan-Flagler School of Business.
